Capsule-Wardrobe-Essentials-Fashion-But-How

A hot topic is how to not buy excessive items and stick to classic pieces that will last you a lifetime…

Because, let’s face it – this way you’ll always have outfits in your wardrobe rather than just pieces that don’t go together.

That’s why I’m here to show you where & how to start your capsule wardrobe….

And also show you the 5 essential pieces every woman should have in their capsule wardrobe to start.

It’s pretty easy when you get the hang of it so continue reading….

The bread and butter in fashion - white t-shirt and blue jeans

For such an essential to have, these things should be quite easy to find at the store, right?

Well… both yes and no.

Because here we’re aiming for a lot of things:

1. Item has to be with a structured fit

2. Not lose shape in the washing machine

3. Be accessible and not cost an arm and a leg

All of that – while fitting you perfectly.

This is quite hard to find, especially if your body is with unique proportions.

That’s why it’d be best to go to the store and try on a bunch of T-shirts and straight leg jeans to see which ones fit you perfectly.

Best store to do this would be Zara.

And actually the pieces you see in the picture above are both from there.

T-shirt is with code 4174/011

Jeans are really old and I got them as a gift so I can’t tell you an exact code but you’ll find a lot of jeans, just have to as I said try them on and see how they fit.

Once you get your right size in Zara jeans you can safely online shop for other pairs because their jeans sizing is very consistent and you wouldn’t have any problems.

And with those two pieces you have an outfit ready to go, you can get 5 different color shirts and 5 different color pants and BOOM!

You just got 25 outfits, thank me later 😉

The White T-shirt's sister - the button up

Although they look quite similar, the white button up will simply elevate your look even more and make you look more professional.

It’s also considered as more elegant so if you’re not into wearing t-shirts – button ups is the way to go.

This time it’s fairly easy to find one that fits you well.

I’d even suggest you get one that’s a bit oversized because this way you can both wear it as a shirt on it’s own and as a layer on top of other things…

Which brings me to a bonus tip I have to share….

Bonus tip - using the shirt as a jacket/layer

black-blazer-fashion-but-how

nothing classier than a black blazer

Until now you could get all of the things for fairly cheap.

Now, this is something I suggest you splurge on because if you do – its’ going to last you forever.

*Stephanie says this while her blazer is second hand and costed $2, just ignore :D*

But no, seriously I had some crazy luck finding the blazer from the picture for dirt cheap.

It’s not the most structured fabric ever and is more of a summer thing but it still does the job.

I’m eyeing a new one from Zara (code 2284/646)

It’s not even all that expensive but the structure of it is just chef’s kiss.

So yeah, definitely splurge more here or keep a close eye in the trift for something that will do the job.

And this also works with all of the other pieces I showed… and even more!

Will work with your whole wardrobe and give it a more chic look, try it out and let me know how you feel.
